Improving the accuracy of the matchmaker!

In the "Jet Power" update, among many other changes, we are going to revise the matchmaker rules, reducing the Battle Rating spread between opponents. We have taken your feedback and suggestions into account and we are making some adjustments that you’ve been long asking for!

After analyzing our statistics, we came to a conclusion that we can separate players with BR III weapons and vehicles from BR V players, which will allow the matchmaker to create more balanced battles. For the USA, Germany and the USSR, the BR III-V matchmaking queues will be removed, this means that only BR I-II, II-III, III-IV and IV-V queues will remain. Meanwhile for Japan, the BR III-V queues will be replaced with BR IV-V queues.

Once the adjustments are live, we will closely monitor the statistics. Matchmaking depends on a number of factors that are difficult to predict, such as the distribution of players between nations. For this reason, we may make additional changes to the number of queues and the BR brackets in the future if necessary.
